The story behind Pricy

One day my mom texted me a link and asked me to order something. I looked at it and thought, “Mom - this exact thing is way cheaper somewhere else.”

And then it hit me.

Most people have no idea that the “boutique” store they’re buying from is often just reselling a $6 item for $30. My mom is one of them. She can buy whatever she wants - it just shouldn’t cost her three times what it should.

So we built Pricy.

To do the searching for her: find the same item at its real source, verify it’s genuinely identical, and show the delivered price - or say nothing at all. No accounts. No coupons to hunt. No catch - we earn a small commission only if you buy a deal it shows you, and it’s printed right on the card.

We think that kind of honesty should be free, and for everyone.
